- Rewrite news in the easiest possible words.
- To select headlines for a piece of news.
- Research before working on special reports.
- To check news for bias.
- Check facts and background information before filing news story.
- Translating from Urdu to English and create write ups and new features.
- To coordinate with graphic designers for relevant pictures with stories.
- Keeping up to date with stories appearing in the TV channels and other news sources.
