اوٹاوا: کینیڈا میں اسلاموفوبیا کا ایک اور واقعہ سامنے آ گیا ہے، اسلامک سینٹر آف کیمبرج میں توڑ پھوڑ اور مسجد کی دیوار پر نفرت انگیز ڈرائنگ بنائی گئی۔
غیر ملکی میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق واٹر لو ریجنل پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ کسی نے اسلامک سینٹر آف کیمبرج کی دیوار پر نفرت انگیز نقوش بنائے تھے، جس کی اطلاع انھیں پیر کو شام 4 بجے کے قریب دی گئی اور انھیں اسلامک سینٹر بلایا گیا۔
The vandalism at the Islamic Centre of Cambridge – and the rise in Islamophobia across the country – is alarming, abhorrent, and unacceptable.
I strongly condemn this incident and stand with Muslim communities against such hate. We must confront and combat Islamophobia together.

پوسٹ میں جسٹن ٹروڈو نے لکھا کہ اسلامک سینٹر آف کیمبرج میں توڑ پھوڑ اور ملک بھر میں اسلاموفوبیا میں اضافہ تشویش ناک، گھناؤنا اور ناقابل قبول ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا میں ایسی نفرت کے خلاف مسلم کمیونٹی کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوں، ہمیں مل کر اسلاموفوبیا کا مقابلہ کرنا ہوگا۔ گزشتہ رمضان میں کینیڈین وزیر اعظم نے اس مسجد کا دورہ بھی کیا تھا۔
